Find and follow an EU procedure
An EU procedure is found in the Procedures card of the Search page, Legislations tab, and is followed with the bell icon on its page.
The exact path, because it is not where you would look for it.
In detail
The card is called Procedures and its first tab Legislations. Remember it as: the Procedures card on the Search page.
- Open Search, then the Procedures card.
- Filter to find your file.
- Open it, then click the bell icon at the top right.
The procedure is added to Monitoring > Legislations and you receive an alert on each new related publication, whether it comes from the Commission, the Parliament or the Council.
The other tabs on this card
They hold stages that people rarely think to look for here.
- Delegated & implementing acts: the level where the concrete impact of a regulation is decided.
- TRIS notifications: the draft technical regulations that member states notify to the Commission before adoption. They are followed like any ordinary file.
- OJEU: the texts published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
