Find out what happened to an amendment

  • Verified on
  • Scope France

The outcome is shown in the “Status” column of amendment tables, and notified to you if you follow the amendment or its article.

Adopted, rejected, withdrawn, inadmissible, fallen. Where to read it and when you are told.

In detail

In the amendment tables, the Status column carries this information: it says what became of the amendment.

That column also holds a value that belongs to you alone, Tracked, which lets you filter on the amendments where you have switched on the bell icon.

When you are told

  • Inadmissible or withdrawn: straight away.
  • Debated: as soon as the outcome is published if you follow the amendment; at the end of the examination of the article, together with the other amendments on that article, if you follow the article.

A useful consequence: if you follow the article, the outcome email generally signals that the examination of that article is over. It is an end-of-stage signal, not just a notification.

What the follow tells you

You are told about corrections and about the tabling of a sub-amendment, two events that often change the real scope of the text.

The number of co-signatories is read on the amendment record itself. That is the page to open when the balance of forces on one precise wording matters to you: it gives the full list, up to date.
