Find a decree or ministerial order
Decrees and ministerial orders are searched in the French institutions space, OJEU tab, filtering by type of text and by period.
Search what has appeared, and be told about what is coming.
In detail
Decrees, ministerial orders, ordinances and opinions published in the Journal officiel, the French official gazette, are there, with the same search characters as everywhere else in Dixit: quotation marks, the asterisk and the hyphen.
- Open the OJEU tab. Search > French institutions > OJEU.
- Filter by type. This is the filter that pays off most: an implementing arrêté (a ministerial order) and a law are not searched for in the same way.
- Set the period with the date picker.
- Open the text. The record gives the full text, article by article, with its recitals (“visas”) and its explanatory note.
Checking whether the implementing decree is out
This is a common use, and an alert answers it better than a search. Create a keyword alert on the title of the law you followed, in quotation marks, with the Official journal source ticked: the decree that cites it is flagged to you as soon as it appears, at the sending rhythm of your alert.
