Find what was said in a meeting
In Search, open the Parliament, Council or European Commission area, Minutes tab, then open the meeting and its Transcription tab.
One point to know: the general search and the transcription do not overlap.
In detail
- Choose the institution. Search > Parliament for plenary debates and committees, Search > Council for the public sessions of the Council, Search > European Commission for press conferences and the midday briefing.
- Open the meeting. Minutes tab, filter by date or by body. The page brings together the video, the transcription and the summaries.
- Search inside the transcription. The box on the Transcription tab highlights your matches, in the original language as well as in the English translation.
Where to search, depending on what you want
Two complementary routes. The Interventions tab of the general search covers the official reports: that is the source you quote in a note.
The transcript is searched inside the meeting page and captured through keyword alerts, in the original language as well as in the English translation. That is the route for reacting on the spot.
