In your keyword alert, the Videos of parliamentary debates field sets which emails you get when your topic is spoken in a debate.

A separate setting inside your alert, which many people have never opened.

In detail

Transcribed debates do not follow the general frequency of your alert: they have their own setting, because the pace of a debate has nothing to do with the pace of a publication.

Setting What you receive Who it is for
At each occurrence An email as soon as your phrase is spoken, during the debate A subject under examination this week, on which you have to react within the hour
Once per meeting A single email per meeting, even if your subject comes up ten times The most comfortable setting for ongoing monitoring
Daily One email a day, grouping the debates where your subject came up A background subject, with no urgency
Do not follow Nothing. The debates remain available to consult in the platform A regulatory framing alert, where the debate would make noise

What “at each occurrence” means

The alert is designed to notify you quickly during debates. Actual timing depends on the video feed, transcript availability and the selected frequency. If you are following a hearing live, the debate page remains the most immediate place to check.

Another way to get notified: follow a committee

The setting above starts from your keywords. There is a second way in, which starts from the places: follow a committee or a body with the bell icon, and you receive the summary of its debates, sitting after sitting, without having to guess the words that will be spoken there.

The two complement each other. The keyword alert catches your subject everywhere; following a body covers what is said where your file is decided.

Where to set it

Monitoring > Keywords, then Update keyword alert on the alert concerned. The Videos of parliamentary debates field sits with the other frequencies.
