Create a presentable amendment report

From the Amendments tab of a procedure stage, export the Word overview, or the full batch in PDF, Word or Excel.

In detail

Two kinds of export are offered: the Word overview, a directly presentable report, and the full batch in PDF, Word or Excel. Excel is generally the most practical option on the European corpus: it can be re-sorted, counted and shared with no formatting work.

What the report contains

  • The text of every amendment, taken from the official source.
  • Identical amendments, spotted and flagged as such, which spares you commenting five times on the same wording.
  • Your labels and your comments, taken through exactly as you added them in the platform.
  • Links to the official sources, so your reader can check without asking you.

That is what makes the difference between an export and a document you circulate as it is.

The right order of work

  1. Filter down to what concerns you.
  2. Add your labels and your comments.
  3. Export.

Exporting first and sorting afterwards loses you the benefit of the annotations, which only come through if they were added beforehand.
