What to verify before sending AI-assisted work
Before sending a deliverable produced with your assistant, check the figures, the roles and the amendment attributions in Dixit.
Three checks, because a deliverable signed with your name commits you.
In detail
- The figures, always. An assistant can count correctly and still be wrong about what it is counting. If your note says “forty-two amendments”, open Dixit and check the total. It is quick, and it is the first thing anyone will challenge.
- The roles. “So-and-so is rapporteur on this bill” cannot be deduced from the list of their amendments. The role is stated on the file page. If your assistant asserts it, check it there.
- Amendment attributions. One person’s output mixes what they authored with what they co-signed. Do not present a volume as personal output without checking.
One case to handle with care
Dixit links certain French amendments to interest representatives. That link is an analysis produced by Dixit, not a statement by the parties concerned. If you reuse it in a document, attribute it as such. Writing “this amendment was drafted by such and such organisation” on that basis alone puts your signature behind it.
