Draft a briefing from my own monitoring

  • Verified on
  • Scope France and Europe

Your assistant can read your alerts and replay what your keyword alerts delivered, then turn it into a sourced briefing.

A little-known use, and the one that starts from your own judgement.

In detail

Most people connect their assistant and ask it general questions about the corpus. That is useful, but it is not where the gain lies. The gain is that your assistant has access to your monitoring, the monitoring you have tuned, with the documents your keyword alerts actually sent you and the dates they were sent.

The request that changes your day

Look at what my “Énergie” alert has picked up since 1 June.
Turn it into a two page position paper: state of play,
stakeholders to watch, three recommendations. Cite your sources.

You get a first version within a few minutes, from your own monitoring scope rather than a generic search. You correct it, you flesh it out, you send it.

Three other requests that work well

  • “Summarise the ten most relevant documents from my alert this week, in two lines each.”
  • “Compare what the political groups have said on this subject in the amendments and in their interventions.”
  • “Prepare the questions to put to this elected representative in a meeting, based on what they have already said.”
