Finding a committee or an expert group
Comitology committees and Commission expert groups are brought together in the Comitology and expert groups space, Bodies tab.
Two separate registers, brought together in one place in Dixit.
In detail
This space brings together two populations that the Commission publishes separately: comitology committees, which vote on implementing acts, and expert groups, which prepare delegated acts and advise the directorates-general upstream.
| Tab | What you find there |
|---|---|
| Bodies | The directory of committees, expert groups and their sub-groups |
| Documents | Draft measures, voting sheets, working documents, participants’ contributions, reports and opinions |
| Minutes | The meeting reports published by the Commission |
| Agendas | What will be examined, before the meeting |
| Meetings | Past and upcoming meetings |
Where to start
- Search by subject, not by name. Official titles are long and unintuitive. A word from your sector in the search field of the Bodies tab brings back the committees concerned.
- Open the profile. There you see the meetings, the documents and, for expert groups, the declared membership.
- Look at the agendas first. That is the document that tells you what is going to be discussed, and therefore the one that leaves you time to act.
Availability
The registers, group membership and CIRCABC documents are updated regularly from Commission sources.
