Include or exclude social media posts
In your keyword alert, the Social networks source covers LinkedIn, X and Bluesky: tick or untick it depending on the subject.
An alert source in its own right, which you tick and untick.
In detail
Posts by elected representatives are an alert source like any other: they are ticked when the alert is created and can be unticked at any time.
When to keep it
On a live political subject, it is often the first signal: an elected representative reacts publicly before tabling an amendment. On an alert set on the name of your organisation, it is also where you will see an attack coming.
When to switch it off
On regulatory or technical monitoring, it mainly produces noise: elected representatives comment on the news, not on arrêtés, the French ministerial orders. If your alert covers a specific scheme, untick the source: you will reduce your email volume without losing anything useful.
Removing a post from an alert
A single post that comes through wrongly can be removed from the alert, without changing the general setting. This is useful for a keyword that also happens to be a common word.
