In detail

The rapporteur on a text is the one who proposes a position to their committee. They are the first person to convince, and their name is read on the file’s page rather than on the profiles of elected representatives.

The method, in three steps

  1. Open the file, note the rapporteur.
  2. Open their profile and filter on your topic, to find out what they have already said about it.
  3. Then look at the elected representatives most active in amendments on the text, in the Strategy tab for that stage, with the Pro plan. They are your possible relays, not your decision-makers.
