Parliamentary bodies

  • Scope France

The directory of bodies is in the Assemblée Nationale / Sénat space, Bodies tab, with Type and Active filters; the bell follows one.

Committees, delegations, study groups: where a file is worked before it reaches the floor.

In detail

What the directory covers

Standing and special committees, committees of inquiry and fact-finding missions, joint committees, parliamentary groups and parties, delegations, study groups and friendship groups, parliamentary offices. The Type filter takes you straight to the family you care about, and the Active filter, ticked by default, sets aside bodies from past legislatures.

What the record contains

Depending on the body, you find its members, its documents, its transcripts, its agendas, its calendar, its communications and its members’ social media posts. It is the overall view of a parliamentary workplace.

The Members tab

For each member it gives their function in the body, their group, their place of election, their profession, their X account and your labels, with the start and end dates of their presence. You filter it by group, by function and on active members.

This reading is the quickest way to answer “who decides in this committee”: the bureau, the rapporteurs, and how the groups are spread around the table.

Exporting

The list of bodies exports with the chamber, the type, the name of the body and its number of active members. The member list exports with the function, the group, the committee, the place, the email, the X account, the profession and your labels. That is the raw material of a contact plan, ready to go into your CRM.

Following a body

The bell on the record opens two settings: the Followed sources and the Email frequency. The sources offered depend on what the body produces: transcripts, meetings, documents, communications, changes of function, social media.
