Get notified about a French Official Journal publication
A keyword alert covers the Journal officiel, article bodies included: tick the Official journal source in the alert settings.
On the Journal officiel, an alert does better than a search.
In detail
The Journal officiel is a source where monitoring by alert is clearly better than searching: texts appear without notice, and their title does not always say what they are about.
How to set it
Nothing particular to switch on: a keyword alert covers the Journal officiel just as it covers the other sources. Simply check that the source is ticked in the alert settings, and choose your frequency: as soon as available, twice a day at 8am and 2pm, every morning at 8am, or on Mondays at 8am.
For a regulatory subject, the daily frequency is almost always enough: the morning email covers what has appeared since the previous one.
Appointments to ministerial offices
Appointments of ministerial advisers are published in the Journal officiel, and a keyword alert catches them with nothing particular to set up. Write nomination conseiller* cabinet énergie to target one portfolio, or drop the last word to cover every ministerial office.
A change of adviser means an interlocutor to build up again from scratch, or a window opening. Knowing it the same day puts you ahead of everyone who will hear it later by word of mouth.
