Where do I find my API key?

Once Dixit has opened API access, generate your key in your Preferences, API card; the documentation opens from the API icon in the menu.

You generate it yourself, once access is open.

In detail

API access is opened on request: email support@dixitplatform.com describing what you want to build. Once access is open, two things appear in the platform: the API card in your Preferences, and the API icon at the bottom of the menu.

Generate your key

  1. Open your Preferences, from the icon at the bottom of the menu.
  2. In the API card, on the API key line, click Generate a new API key.
  3. Confirm, then copy the key and store it wherever your team keeps its secrets.

Use the key

Every request authenticates with the Dixit-Api-Key header, which carries your key. The API’s technical documentation opens from the API icon in the menu.

You cannot see the API card?

The card and the icon only appear once API access is open on your account. Email support@dixitplatform.com to request it.
