Find what was said in a sitting
Open the sitting from Search, Assemblée Nationale / Sénat area, Minutes tab, then search inside its Transcription tab.
One point to know: the general search and the transcription do not overlap.
In detail
- Open the parliamentary area. Search > Assemblée Nationale / Sénat, Minutes tab. Filter by date, by body, or by a word in the title to find the meeting.
- Open the debate. You land on the page for the meeting: the video, the transcription and the summaries are gathered there.
- Search inside the transcription. The search box on the Transcription tab highlights your matches and moves you from one to the next.
Where to search, depending on what you want
Two routes, each with its use. The Interventions tab of the general search covers the official reports: that is the source for archive work on a parliamentarian’s statements, the one that is authoritative and quotable.
The transcript is searched inside the debate page and captured through keyword alerts. That is the route for reacting on the spot, available while the debate is still going on.
